How the rollout of the toll platform happened

A short chronology of the main milestones, from the first field tests on the Delhi-Mumbai corridor to the current fleet dashboard.

2019 - First corridor tests

We ran a three-month pilot with 14 trucks on the Delhi-Jaipur stretch. The goal was simple: measure how many seconds a FASTag transaction actually takes at a busy plaza and where the failures happen.

2020 - Transaction reconciliation module

After the pilot, we built the first version of the reconciliation tool. It matched toll charges against trip logs and flagged mismatches automatically, which cut manual checking time for fleet managers by roughly half.

2021 - Account top-up and balance alerts

We added a shared fleet wallet with low-balance warnings. Dispatchers get an alert when the balance drops below a set threshold, so a truck is never stuck at a barrier because the account ran dry.

2022 - Route cost forecasting

Using historical transaction data, we introduced a route cost estimator. It shows the expected toll expense for a given corridor before the trip starts, which helps planners avoid the most expensive alternatives.

2023 - Multi-vehicle tag management

Fleet operators can now link several tags to one account, assign them to specific vehicles, and pause or replace a tag remotely. This removed the need to visit a customer service point for a simple tag swap.

2024 - Trip history export and audit trail

The latest release added a full export of trip history with timestamps, plaza names, and vehicle numbers. Transporters use it for internal audits and to justify toll expenses to their clients.

How the Toll Process Works

From badge activation to monthly reconciliation, the workflow is built around the realities of Indian highway corridors. Each step has a clear owner and a measurable outcome, so your dispatch team knows exactly what to expect and when.

Badge Activation

We link your vehicle registration numbers to the FASTag system and activate the tags within two working days. You receive a confirmation list with tag IDs and the linked bank account for each truck.

Fleet Account Setup

Your account is configured with spending limits per vehicle and a central wallet. The dashboard shows the balance in real time, so you can top up before a long haul instead of discovering a shortfall at the toll booth.

Transaction Tracking

Every toll deduction appears in the dashboard within minutes of the gate crossing. The log includes the plaza name, the highway section, the vehicle ID, and the exact amount, which makes monthly audits straightforward.

Route Cost Alerts

When a truck enters a corridor with above-average toll rates, the system flags it in the daily report. This gives your planners a chance to reroute or consolidate loads before the cost is locked in.

Monthly Reconciliation

At the end of each month, we generate a summary that matches every transaction against your bank statement. Discrepancies are investigated and resolved with the toll operator, not left for you to chase.

Fleet Review Call

Once a quarter, we walk through the spending patterns with your operations team. The call covers route efficiency, tag performance, and any changes in toll policy that could affect your regular corridors.
